I think the main problem, at least with those of us from the north is that we make all kinds of plans for the summer and then we sit around talking about how we can't wait to fulfill those plans and BAM! we are buying Christmas presents. So here's to all of us who want to soak up the sun and push winter back as far as we can!
Today's Diet...actually yesterday's :)
Oatmeal: 1/2 cup of unsweetened/unflavored oatmeal w/ 1 cup of 1% milk. Half scoop of MuscleTech vanilla whey protein, a couple rounds(ya know, squeeze the bottle and go in a circle a couple times...) of honey and about a tbsp. of chia seeds. The coffee has a very small splash of milk and absolutely no sugar...are you kidding me!!
You can see that Chia seeds are the theme of the day here, haha. Bre just picked some up for me at a farmer's market because I've read tons of good things about them. You can hardly taste them and they are very good for you(or so I hear) so why not add them to everything? I cannot attest to the health benefits of the oatmeal bread. I can't imagine that it is bad for you really, but I can assure you that it was freaking amazing. This could have been the best PB sandwich I've ever had. I know it's not really a sandwich but you get the point. The peanut butter is organic Smuckers and has just 1g of sugar per serving.
